STEP (St. Louis Park Emergency Program)
STEP strengthens our community by responding to the basic emergency needs of individuals and families in St. Louis Park.
We believe the simple act of being resourceful can change the world. By seeing a new purpose for what others cast-off, we are able to partner with service organizations to deliver opportunities to those living in scarcity. It’s our calling to create a world where we all matter.
Parks & Rec, Nature Center, City Hall, Special Events, and projects such as fire hydrant painting and beautifying parks.
Assisting teachers and supporting students in the areas of reading, math, art, music, ELL, media, special events, summer school, and Kids’ Place Child Care.
Connecting to the community through hands on service to those in need. A fun and energetic club environment that is welcoming to other community leaders and fosters a shared commitment to the betterment of our communities and the Rotary ideals of service above self.
CIP (Community Involvement Programs)
Supporting people with disabilities through spending time with them, fundraising events, and work crews.
Called to see refugees and other immigrants transformed economically, socially, and spiritually. Includes Refugee Life Ministries and SALT (Somali Adult Literacy Training) with ESL home tutoring in SLP.
